From Chaos to Connection

Self-Paced Programme

A transformational 8 month programme supporting you to (finally) bring about the peaceful vision of family life you're longing for.

This self-guided format is designed to give you everything you need to work through the programme in your own time. This option works really well for people who enjoy self-guided learning and are able and willing to set aside a regular time to work through the learning material and lessons. For those who find it challenging to work in this way, we recommend the group or accompanied options.

Enter your details here and you will be sent to a form to register for the FCTC programme. By signing up, you agree to receive email updates.

About the Self Paced Programme

Who is this for? If you enjoy learning in your own time, with the reassurance of occasional check ins and email support, choose the self-paced version. This option gives you the most freedom to set your own pace and learn in the way that works for you. You are welcome to email us with your questions, and you have two coffee chats with Sally (half-hour check ins) that you can book during your time.

Progress and Timing for the self-paced programme: Your registration gives you 8 months in this programme, which is the amount of time we recommend to move through in a focused but spacious way (around 1 montdule per month). MOdules are unlocked when you complete them, and so you are welcome to move through at a faster or slower pace, depending on your situation and capacity.

You can stay in the programme for as long as you like, taking your time as a group, lingering on the modules that are relevant and rich for you, returning to modules that you want to review or revisit.

Time commitment: We recommend dedicating roughly 2 hours per week (think one morning or evening, in a cosy, quiet place with a journal, your phone or laptop and a cup of coffee). This would include:

  • Reading through the regular email from us.

  • Printing out or saving the worksheets and resources.

  • Watching a few video lessons, pausing periodically to do the exercises onto the prepared worksheets.

  • Setting aside a small daily window (5-10 mins) for journaling and self-reflection (first thing in the morning or right before bed).

  • Logging into the Community online area to share celebrations, intentions, or questions/challenges whenever you like.

Getting support: During your time in the programme, you are welcome to reach out to Sally via email with any questions you have. You also have access to the community online chat (like a facebook page but private to those doing the programme).

What is the cost? The programme is offered on a gift economy (pay what you are willing and able) basis. Our current request for the self-paced programme is $620-1240 NZD.

Gareth, Father of 5, Invercargill

“What can I say? Absolutely everything resonated with me. I am really going to use these skills/tools in my life. This course feels like an awakening that I believe in and want to use to improve my relationships with my family. I loved the way Sally and Jorinde seemed to play to each other’s strengths, it is so obvious what a great team you make”

Sarah, Mother of 2, Geraldine

“Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. The two of you collaborating/working together gives me such joy. You do have so much experience, wisdom, care and positive intention in presenting the learning of NVC. Your care for us all just shines from you. Thank you to you both.”

Jen, Mother of 1, Dunedin

“I don't feel as alone as the odd/terrible/out of my depth as a parent. I also now have some tools to not be so out of my depth/overwhelmed. I'm recognizing the signs when I should stop and pay attention to my child's needs and my own. I learnt a lot about needs and feelings and while it was hard to tap into them I'm finding it a bit easier to do as a result of this course.”
